The Asian Cultural Arts Society is one of many
organizations dedicated to bringing understanding of the diverse cultures
of Asia to mainstream American communities. It's main focus is on the
various Asian practices presently being done in America, not necessarily
by Asians and Asian-Americans, but also by non-Asians living in America.
The Society 's endeavors are facilitated through the use of various
media, community involvement, lectures, concerts, public and private
demonstrations, and other means. It's major effort is the production
of cable TV programming. The Society was incorporated in 1984 and registered
with the Secretary of State in New Jersey.
Cooperating closely with industry, educational institutions, martial
arts schools, medical facilities, holistic centers, and various community
organizations, the Society's efforts have been utilized by Johnson &
Johnson, AT&T, Rutgers University, Omega Institute, Somerset Medical
Center, Hunterdon Medical Center, Colgate-Palmolive, Kean College, Raritan
Valley Community College, Somerset County Human Resources, Middlesex
County Health & Human Services, Visiting Nurses Association of Somerset
County, Light Lines Holistic Center, Holistic Association of the Princeton
Area, Many Martial Arts Schools, American Chemical Society, civic organizations,
